A formal model of Mass Servicing System with one servicing device and limited waiting time as well as the analytical design thereof have been considered in the paper. The requirements for the operation of the system are defined and relevant formula have been brought out, through which one can estimate the first two moments of distribution of probabilities of losing task in the system because of limited wait time. It is assumed that the input flow of task is described by gamma distribution.

Architecture of software for automatic diagnosis and management of devices in radiotechnical heterogeneous systems is being considered. The proposed architecture is modular, which provides simplicity and flexibility. We consider in detail the structure and functions of all modules. Management and diagnosis is based on the expert data, which are defined in the scripting language JavaScript.

In this article describes the method of video compression quality measurement. That method has a open architecture and doesn’t rigidly bound with only one type of compression. The advantages of that method is in its universality, dynamism and ability to be improved depending on development of video compression algorithms.

An equipment design is suggested for antenna testing in short millimeter waveband (SMW), based on amplitude and phase measurements over a plane in the near field of the antenna under test (AUT). Design solutions are offered for units, including the mechanical scanning system, the radio measurement system and the automatic control system. All requirements correspond to the modern technology level. Requirements are developed for the parameters of each unit to attain measurement accuracies comparable to those in similar centimeter waveband antenna measurements. The proposed solutions enable universality of the equipment across different spectral intervals of SMW, hence imply the possibility of reducing antenna testing costs in this frequency range.
